We got the rolls from the Deichbäcker every morning on our vacation and I have to say they were really delicious. Always had mixed, light-dark-or grain rolls. Really recommend.

Ate there several times in the evening and everything was very tasty. Extensive menu and a large selection of ice cream, cakes and pies. The waffles are awesome! The staff is very nice and makes a lot possible despite the current circumstances. A reservation is strongly recommended! A certain disturbance was caused by the loud sorting of the cutlery ... otherwise everything was great.

Staff bored and rude. No deviations from the ice map possible. Here one could assume that the operator only works under duress. Customer service nil. It's a shame for such a good location. This place is definitely on the blacklist.

Very tasty 😋. You can eat here from noon. Both steaks and fish. And drink coffee and eat cake. Great location. Wurster is small, but cozy. The North Sea coast is almost directly in front of the restaurant. Great 👍

Nice little coffee in close proximity to the dike. The staff was friendly and we were served promptly. The menu was extensive.

Considering that Dorum-Neufeld is a seaside resort, the price / performance ratio is more than appropriate. Very nice staff, who were always friendly and courteous even when there was a lot of crowds and made it possible for us to have a great stay in the restaurant. Due to Corona requirements, unfortunately only a few guests are allowed to be present at the same time and the windows or the large entrance door have to be constantly open because of the exchange of air. In the evening you can eat in two shifts (5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.). A table reservation is advisable! The dishes we ordered on the six evenings in the restaurant were all tasteless. We would definitely like to come back.

The staff are very vigilant and personable ... the food is mega ... we ordered the tomahavk cutlet with it included ... everything was fresh and homemade ... not even in cuxhaven we ate so good quality ... on definitely best resto in the area ... 10 🌟 stars

There were 4 different fish rolls for us today. Each was delicious. It takes a little longer here and that's a good thing! Because these were really particularly great fish rolls rarely eaten so delicious. Keep it up :)

The food was very good (all fish dishes). The only problem was that the waitress somehow forgot about us. Actually we also wanted to eat cake.

Pleasant atmosphere, good, solid cuisine, nothing out of the ordinary. Staff was quick and attentive. We had two very nice evenings. Prices maybe a few percent too high, but okay for the area. The ice cream is definitely very good.

Can't understand the bad reviews. The normal rolls are okay, like any other bakery. We like dark rolls, grains, etc. .. and we are totally thrilled. Yes, the prices are minimally higher for a dark bun, BUT you really have something in your hand. The bakers in our region at home have crispy, fresh rolls that are made up of 30% air inside. At the dike baker here you have the feeling that you have two rolls instead of just one in your hand, here you really get a bit of bulk and you get full. In terms of taste, we tried everything this week, the selection is large and all varieties were very tasty. Cakes, pastries and Danish pastries are also very, very tasty and must be tried. Of course, every taste is different, but the quality is 100% given, we recommend the baker without a guilty conscience to anyone who wants quality instead of "stinginess is cool". At the waiting times, it is a small branch, which is stocked with 1 - 2 sales assistants, there is no more space at all. Of course, you also wait accordingly at breakfast times. During the week we noticed that the biggest crowd was between 9 - 11, so we were there shortly before and were served quickly and friendly.

Delicious cakes and pies; The offer could be more varied or change more frequently. Very large and tasty waffles. Cream puffs as well. Nice ambience inside and out. Labels on the cake selection would be great, then you don't have to be explained to everyone. Prices are absolutely fine.

I would like to thank the young man with short blond hair, approx. 1.90 m tall, for reserving a table for 5 adults, 3 children, a high chair and 2 dogs. We were there today, the table was a cheek, the high chair was missing, the table was enough for at most 5 adults and the waitress was snooty and cheeky, after a complaint of a currywurst for a 9 year old boy, the currywurst was far too spicy, only one came, we take it that way. The evening in the cafe was a very big letdown.
